Travelling troubadour Sorrel Nation weaves a rooted Americana sound blending folk-rock and country into songs shaped by life on the road. With emotive lyrics, a 70s-inspired style and a voice that carries real depth and feeling, Sorrel truly connects with audiences and invites them in to a snapshot of her heart.

2024 and 2025 marked a period of significant and exciting growth and momentum for Sorrel releasing a body of work that reflects both the intimacy of her songwriting and the scale of her live performances. This included the delicate live EP 'Thirty Summers', her critically acclaimed debut studio album 'Lost En Route' with its subsequent release on vinyl and a new 'Live & Acoustic' EP that strips her songs back to their core.

Alongside the releases, Sorrel has become a familiar presence on the festival circuit appearing at Black Deer, Isle of Wight and Cambridge Folk Festivals whilst continuing her musical journey with The Magic Teapot festival venue.

Touring continues to be at the heart of her work by travelling the UK in her Campervan, fondly named Dory, with her partner and cello player Theo and their rescue dog Lana, 2026 bringing two more exciting UK wide tours with her wonderful band.

When not touring, Sorrel lives in a converted horse lorry on the Isle of Wight where time spent walking and observing the steady changes of the seasons has allowed her a quieter rhythm to pen songs.  A life shaped by movement, nature and intention, her songwriting continues to thrive in honest unforced ways.

Her second studio album 'Creeping Thyme' is due to be released on October 23rd 2026. Sorrel says:

"This album is a reflection on the people and places that have tugged at my heartstrings & shaped my world, helping me feel grounded and at home. In them, I've found peace, strength, and a little (or a lot) of magic in everyday life, which has been the fuel for writing these songs. Learning from nature has taught me to love the simplest things and to stay resilient through life's strife. Creeping Thyme felt like a fitting title, as the folklore surrounding this ancient wild herb speaks of courage, protection, peace, and the magic and memory of old ways"

And yes… Sorrel Nation is her real name.
